Founded by C-Knight (R.I.P.), with members Bo-Roc and 2Scoop, The Dove Shack first made waves on Warren G’s 1994 album Regulate... G Funk Era with their track “This Is the Shack.” In 1995, they dropped their debut album, This Is the Shack, featuring the timeless West Coast classic “Summertime in the LBC”—a smooth, laid-back anthem reflecting on the good times growing up in the LBC during the summer.
